Dozer Days has got to be just about the coolest fundraiser I’ve ever been to. I’ve never seen so many little boys, and we probably saw a dozen wearing the same shirt as Noah. What an awesome way to spend a birthday!

Grandpa Russ with the boat (as opposed to Grandpa Russ with the dog) met us at Dozer Days. We started off the morning with a green popsicle, a fave of my boys, while we waited our turn to scoop and dump the excavators.

We threw some rocks at rusty hubcaps, wrote our names on rocks and mortared them in place. Noah wrote his own name AND carried his own stone. How cool!

We took a ride in a huge dump truck, climbed under and all over lots of construction equiptment, saw some men shoot off a cannon, and enjoyed reasonably priced food and root beer.

The boys were fairly exhausted by noon. A wonderful birthday morning for a 4 year old man.
