We’ve been so busy playing and working outside. Noah and Harrison already have tan lines. Did I mention that it’s like ultimate fighting to tackle them and apply sunscreen? I should really get that on video.

We were blessed to come across a huge load of wood; likely enough for all of next winter. The men in my life took a couple of days to haul it to the back yard – boy did they have fun!

Quite soon, I’m afraid, I will have to rely solely on good behavior to keep Noah in the backyard. He seems to have figured out yet another way to escape.
My garden was a bit of a bust. We started baby plants from seed, watered them, gave them the best sun in the house, and slowly hardened them to the outside. They didn’t survive. My gardening just can’t compete with Milaeger’s. I bought my veggie plants. It’s come to mind that I did not inherit my mother’s green thumb. I’d say it’s more yellow (as is the color of my dying baby plants) There’s always next year…. We will have fresh home-grown veggies, even if the plants did get their start a few miles down the road.

it looks on first glance that noah’s pants got stuck on the fence and he was just hanging there..
Comment by Catherine May 28, 2009 @ 7:03 pmI would suggest a higher fence with a lock….
Comment by Grampa May 31, 2009 @ 8:30 amGood luck with your garden. I’ve already come to terms with my gardening limitations and I don’t trust that I could handle things from the seed form! I can be trusted with large plants that are very capable of doing things on their own. hehehe I stuck to just tomatoes this year. Peppers were too much work and money for the amount I got out of them. Oh well. We’ll see how things go this summer. I hope better than last year. We’re starting out as cold as last year so we’ll see.
