Sand WILL be in my house for the next 6 months or so.

Big thanks to our neighbors who have generously donated the sand for our table the last 2 years. I guess, their kids are now good enough drivers NOT to run into the kitchen when parking in the garage; so the sand filled garbage cans are no longer needed.
On a happier note for my kitchen floor, but really not related at all… My garden is now framed out with pavers bricks and looks awesome! Noah and Harrison were a big help with carrying the bricks and picking up the chunks of grass I dug up.
Noah and Harrison got in a little biking today. Score one for Mom, they are both wearing helmets!

Outside get ready, these boys are ready to play!

We got the kids up at the buttcrack of dawn to make it to Sunrise Service. Surprisingly they did fine. Church was followed by St. John’s annual breakfast, a mini-egg hunt at home and a nap for all 4 of us.
We woke up from our nap energized and had some outdoor fun. I picked up a kite at JoJo’s a few weeks ago. Rob and I took turns running up and down the street with the boys chasing us until the Polack leader who is smarted than the crafty mouse, remembered that we have a moped.
Moped + Kite = Lots of fun!!

After tearing up the street, we headed out for an Easter hike on the bike trail which resulted in one smelly dog and Noah’s treasure of someone else’s dirty underware (we left them on the trail). Easter supper was hamburgers on the grill. Not too traditional, but super yummy!
