I make it a priority to teach Noah and Harrison to say please and thank you. I think it’s polite and respectful, plus adults like and respond to better, children who are polite. Noah has taken this to the extreme:
Mom: Noah would you like some oatmeal?
Noah: Yes please.
Mom: Noah would you like some blueberries?
Noah: No please!
Maybe I’ve been stressing the politness a bit too much. But I do get a kick out of the no pleases!
