I need to become more crafty. With this winter starting out WI bone-chillin’ cold, and Harrison not really enjoying being outside, we’ve been inside more than we’re used to.
Noah and Harrison both really enjoy crafts. Noah does at least one a day at school, and at daycare he spends much of his free play time at the arts and crafts center. Last time I picked him up, he showed me the painting room. Rob often brings home 5, 10, or more art projects Noah has completed that day. Harrison also enjoys arts and crafts. He brings home mostly paintings, but his teachers have commented several times that he actually “gets” arts and crafts and doesn’t chew or throw the supplies like so many other kids his age.
We are currently out of construction paper, dangerously low on glue, out of glue sticks. Look at what we did today. Pretty sorry, don’t you think?

Lots of my RFC friends have blogs and regularly post the cute crafts they do with their children. I suscribe to kidscraftsweekly, and we’ve actually done a couple of the crafts. My favorite was the Christmas thumbprint spiders – I used that again this year and made cards for all the teacher…
I need help. Where do I even go for craft supplies. I’m thinking googly eyes, foam balls, pipe cleaners, construction paper, etc…. And where do you gals get your ideas???
