I watched Noah and Harrison’s 7 week old cousin Emily today. I was a little nervous. What would happen if they all cried at the same time? It could not have gone smoother (so far). Emily slept for 3 hours in the swing, took a bottle, played with N and H for 1 hour, and went back to sleep in the swing.
Noah and Harrison are smitten with her. They so enjoyed looking at her and playing gently. A few quotes from Noah, “Harry old baby, that [Emily] new baby”, “Rick come back take baby” I think his intent with the last quote was to make sure that Rick came back to play with Noah, and he doesn’t want to keep the baby.
Noah was pretty cool about helping too. He gave Emily a bit of her bottle, threw away her dirty diaper, pushed her in the swing and didn’t get a bit jealous! Of course, N and H had to try out the swing too.
Maybe I could handle one more???
