Score: Mom 2: Harrison 450
For the second day in a row, I put Harrison down for his nap in what was always intended to be his room without nursing. He slept 2 hours without waking up. If only this would work at bedtime.
Rob offered my $1000 to spend on anything I want if I could get Harrison sleeping through the night by the time he is 2. He wasn’t kidding. I turned him down because he would try to ”catch” me in a technicality and take a motorcycle tour to Mexico with Roger. I know his ways, and his thought process…
I, selflessly, thought a better plan was to work together to get Harrison sleeping through the night (ie. Rob will have to help because Harrison sees me and thinks miiiiiillllk in the middle of the night). Once successful, whatever the timeline, we’ll take that $1000 and go to Mexico or some other awesome destination sans kids.

Hands down, the boys would vote for Lisa’s puddle as the coolest place to be after a rain. Thank goodness she doesn’t mind the occasional stomp in her puddle. This morning was no exception. It’s cold, windy and rainy, but the boys NEEDED to be outside, or at least that’s what they told me. I raked sopping wet leaves so they could trudge through them, they used their lawnmowers to zoom through the leaves, and we spent a good 15 minutes in Lisa’s puddle. Splish Splash Zoom Zoom
