Harrison discovered just this morning that he could scale the back of the couch (the one NOT pushed up against the wall)  I rescued him just as he was getting his second leg over the top.  What is my 2 ft tall little man thinking will happen to him if he exits the 4ft tall couch.  Probably he’s thinking “free fall”  At least he was going feet first, not head first like Noah’s been doing the last couple of days.

In the process of rescueing Harrison from certain pain and peril, the kid gouges my eye.  Hours later when I still can’t open it, and tears are running down my face, I decide it’s time to seek medical attention.

Diagnosis: 4mm Right corneal abrasion.  Numbing drops x1 and antibiotic drops for 5 days, avoid light, take Tylenol and use a cold pack.

Rob wasn’t a fan of a dimly lit house.  Here’s his proposed solution…  I wasn’t overly enthusiastic.
